In April 2017, “The New Drone Regulation” came into force, which was published by the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure.

The law contains rules and regulations for handling drones and multi-copters, which must be complied with by both private and commercial pilots.

The proof of knowledge, also called Drone Licence, is required by law from 01.10.2017 for the control of drones from 2kg take-off weight. Passing the exam requires extensive knowledge of the following subject areas:

• Air law basics
• Meteorology
• Application and navigation

 Since the beginning of 2018, we have been certified by the Federal Office of Civil Aviation under the number DE.AST.054 as a recognized authority for determining the qualification of unmanned aerial vehicles. 

In order to optimally prepare you for the exam and your future as a “drone pilot”, we offer basic training including extensive teaching material. Both training and exam take place on the same day!
